Fourth of July Weekend.

This year was so nice with the Fourth of July on a Sunday because it meant that we got an extra day of celebrating. We were able to spend time with both sides of the family for a change and it was such a great weekend.

We started out by spending the Saturday with the Walkers. We met up for some yummy sandwiches at Mom and Dads, followed by an afternoon full of sun and way too many treats. Then later that night we all went to Provo to watch the fireworks from Stadium of Fire. We actually ended up missing half of the fireworks because we thought they were over and left early, but we had a really good time anyway.

Boston loves playing in the kiddie pool in the backyard. She was in here for about three hours straight.

The rest of us needed to cool down too.

We spent a lot of the day just relaxing, it was so nice!

I told Boston that when she pulls this face she looks a lot like her dad, so now she loves to show everyone her "I look like daddy" face.

Sunday night after church we went to Brigham city to spend the night and prepare for all of the festivities on Monday. Every year since way before my time my grandparents have made it a tradition to get together with their best friends the Dunns and have a BBQ. We reserve the park and spend the entire day there just eating and having fun. I love getting together with everyone and it makes the Fourth of July one of my favorite holidays.

Our family at the BBQ.

Me, Jordan, and one of our best friends Charise. (I love that our grandparents are BFFs too)

Who needs toys? All this little girl need is a stick and some dirt and she is perfectly content.

Lauren letting the kids check out her I-pod. Boston loves to listen to Taylor Swift.

We spent a lot of time at the playground. There was absolutely no shade, but luckily the weather wasn't too hot so the kids were still able to enjoy it.

Boston, Will, and Anaston in the secret agent cave.

A bunch of us also went to Pioneer park to check out the activities there. Mally and Tiff were such good sports. They were they only ones that would participate in the games.

By mid afternoon the day was too much for Boston. She fell asleep while we were at the park and slept for a really long time, so we all took turns holding her.
This is the first time that she has let Curtis hold her since he got home from his mission.

Grandpa made the most of her nap as well.

Grandma enjoyed it too.

Later that night we went to dinner and to the Fireworks with our good friends Chase and McKell Jensen. We love to hang out with these guys.

It was a super fun weekend!!!!
